Port Hedland Game Fishing Club Wins Prestigious Award!
The Port Hedland Game Fishing Club has been named the Pilbara Ports Sporting Group of the Year at the 2024 Town of Port Hedland and BHP Community Sports Awards. The gala event, held at Rays, celebrated the region's sporting talents with over 90 entries across nine categories. Mayor Peter Carter highlighted the role of sport in uniting the community and congratulated all winners and nominees. Special guest speaker, three-time Olympic hockey player Jane Claxton, added to the night's excitement. Congratulations to the Port Hedland Game Fishing Club for their outstanding achievement!
