In line with the July school holidays we are running a Juniors Catch & Release competition which runs from the 1st-15th July.
Catch & Release forms will be emailed to members and available on the website.
All species are eligible (except sharks and rays, please be safe). Clear photos to be taken on a brag mat of any fish caught and presented to the clubrooms with your filled in catch and release sheets between 4-5pm on Saturday 15th July with presentation shortly after.
This competition will be divided into 2 age groups.
0-7 years
8-15years
There will be a prize awarded to the Junior of each category with the most centimeters accumulated over the 2 weeks.
Captures are to take place in Pilbara waters, no further than 55 nautical miles from the PHGFC clubrooms. Juniors should always be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Any target species caught during this time unfortunately won't be eligible for club champion submission as per our current rules.
